CHRIS HALL - EDITOR / CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Chris is a commercial film editor & post-process sherpa based in Los Angeles. He has worked with agencies, edit houses, production companies, & client direct - everywhere from LA & Seattle to Barcelona & Munich.
In the 2000s, Chris began his career as an assistant editor at shops such as Spot Welders, Rock Paper Scissors, Beast, & Chrome. Since 2010 he’s been cutting full time; cultivating new partnerships & building a diverse body of work.
In 2015 Chris edited a short doc for Brand Jordan that led Los York & AKQA to win 6 Cannes Lions. He cut NBA Finals spots for Beats, was an editor on Lebron’s “The Shop” pilot, & created 🔥 content for the 2018 World Cup with Fox Sports.
In addition to editing, Chris has taaken on the role of post-production creative director. He recently provided soup to nuts post (edit/color/GFX/audio/delivery) for NBA G-League, Unibet, & Bevy’s first ever commercial campaign.
Aside from commercial work, LACMA hired Chris to cut “Conversations Across Time”, a film about the murals of Pablo Picasso & Diego Rivera. During the making of the film, director Rodrigo Garcia offered to split directing credit with Chris.
And then… he edited the first ever Super Bowl campaign for TikTok.
