Brand Yew Friends is a multi-disciplinary creative collective whose goal is simply to solve client’s problems while doing great work. We use our 20 years of experience in the design and animation industry to facilitate unique collaborations for agencies and brands. We are a solution-based team with the ability to offer full-service capabilities for all budgets through one or multiple partners. There isnt a board we cant solve, a team we cant build, or a project we cant make.

Our capabilities include 2D/3D Design/Animation, Live Action, Photoreal CG, Unreal Engine and Volume Stage Production, VFX and Comp, Offline Editorial, Color & Finishing, and Audio Post.

The following are our team members that we feel are a perfect fit for this project. Please note there are two options for motion design and post-production.

Jason Cook - DIRECTOR, CREATIVE DIRECTOR AND VFX SUPERVISOR.

Jason is a conceptual filmmaker and storyteller, inspired by the cross-section of film and design, and driven by great creative. Over the last 20+ years, he has led campaigns for Coca Cola, Bud Light, Audible, Lexus, Jordan Brand, Nike, Walmart, Gatorade, Fiat, Chase, Adidas, Ubisoft and Target to name a few. For Jason, directing is cinematic design, another medium for visual communication in his multi-tiered toolbox. A performance director with a strong background in design, animation, and visual effects, his approach to storytelling is rooted in the desire to explore, block, light and create films that resonate with the intended objective, and have a blast while making them. He absolutely loves this stuff.

MIDNIGHT SHERPA - Motion Design & Post production

We build experiences that connect brands to their consumers with an engaging blend of design, entertainment, and education. Since 2015 we have been creating for agencies and brands, maintaining a close relationship with a diverse portfolio of clients including Sony, Dolby, Netflix, Disney, Google, Ford, and Audi. Our base of operations is in Los Angeles but we seek out new Sherpas to collaborate with all over the world.

Our tight knit family of directors, composers, artists, and dreamers has helped transform and redefine work for NETFLIX & HBO, BMW & Mercedes, Coca-Cola & Nike, Virgin Mobile & Dolby, Sony Entertainment, CD Projekt RED, and the BBC. We’re suckers for how big ideas look and sound, and we’ve traded many a weekend for sweating out the details that make them come alive.
