Dear Family, Friends, Colleagues and Past Donors-

I’m excited to share that I’ll once again be participating in the Curebound Cancer Challenge (FKA Padres Pedal For the Cause)—an incredible event where we ride, run, walk, and spin in honor of those whose lives have been impacted by cancer. Together, we turn our passion into fundraising to accelerate cancer research and save lives.

Last year was amazing. The energy, the community, and the support blew me away—and thanks to generous donors, we hit our team fundraising goal and made a real impact. 

Why I Ride

I ride in honor of my Aunt Leslie, who had a huge impact on my life. From childhood through my 20s and 30s, she showed up for me—in big and small ways. She introduced me to cultural expereinces, encouraged my free thinking, and helped shape the person I am today.

When she passed from cancer in 2020, due to Covid restrictions, I never had the chance to say goodbye. That was my focus last year.

But this year, I’m not saying goodbye.
I’m saying hello.
I’m riding with her in my thoughts and in my heart—grateful for the memories, the lessons, and the love.

To date, the Curebound Cancer Challenge has raised over $21 million and funded 80+ cutting-edge cancer research grants.
